Mortgages rates are generally derived from the rates set by ČNB (Czech National Bank) and are around 2% over the basic interest rate set by the ČNB . The lowest mortgage interest rate is therefore in the extreme cases 1.5 - 1.8%, in the year 2021 the rate was exceptionally good at around 2.00%. The highest increase in mortgage rate is expected at the end of 2022 and at the beginning of 2023 it is expected to be up to 9.00% (from June 2022 it has the basic rate has set by the ČNB  has been 7.00%)
